feeling over formula.
emotion over perfection.
Your wedding is going to be real life, not a performance… because, let’s be honest, that’s the only way anyone’s going to enjoy it.
I believe a wedding should reflect your values, style, and personality – not be dictated by trends or rigid expectations. It should feel like you.
That’s why I focus on catching the vibe and working with you, rather than ordering you and your guests around all day. The goal? Everyone enjoying the day to the fullest – with photos that capture the big moments, the small ones, and everything in between.

Hi, I'm Joel.

I’m glad you’re here! If you’re looking for a wedding photographer who takes a relaxed, mostly candid approach – with a few carefully crafted ‘plandid’ moments thrown in – you’re in the right place.
Choosing a photographer is a big decision, so it’s important to pick someone you’d genuinely want to spend the day with. There are plenty of amazing photographers out there, but the one you choose should be someone to whom you could say, “I love the way you see the world.”
So a little bit about me – I'm a 20-something (for now) guy with a background in support-work for individuals with learning disabilities and difficulties. I studied Anthropology at University in Canterbury, which is also where I first fell in love with photography. I was particularly drawn to street photography due to the possibility of combining interesting lighting with incidental moments – something that still shapes how I shoot weddings today. I am now living in Cheshire, but I love to travel all over the UK for my weddings. I also like to make incredibly sub-standard beats on my computer, and possess the unbelievable ability to consistently let my cup of tea go cold.
